It is with much disappointment that we announced the cancellation of New Jersey's 2020 Recovery Walk*Rally, which was scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 19th (National Recovery Day) at Liberty State Park.

Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic, the current Governor's Order and all the related uncertainty made this year's event — which was to be our 7th annual — an impossibility. Ironically, the reasons the Walk*Rally was cancelled are the very reasons which made it much needed: addiction was running rampant in our communities, substance misuse was unfettered and taking prisoners in many homes, overdoses, suicide and mental health decomposition were all at unprecedented levels.

Until we meet again, thank you and be well. Most gratefully, Lisa E. Gladwell, Esq., Chair — on behalf of NEW JERSEY RECOVERY ADVOCATES, Inc.
